Beginner Mitten Workshop
Are you ready to learn to knit mittens! Mittens are fun and surprisingly quick to knit and are full of skill building techniques you will use in other projects.
This class is intended for knitters with basic knitting ability and will build on skills to allow you to knit mittens both single and two at a time.

Material required: 4.5 mm Double pointed needles (needle size determines mitten size) or 4.5 – 40″ circular needles (magic loop), stitch markers, darning needle

Advanced Stranded Colourwork Mitten Workshop
Are you ready to build your mitten skills? These mittens make a great project for knitters of all skill levels. Students need to be able to cast on, bind off, knit and purl easily and know how to increase and decrease stitches

Explore two-colour stranded knitting while making these beautiful mittens. In this workshop you will learn how to manage two colours with one colour in each hand, how to read a colourwork chart, and how to do a traditional Scandinavian thumb gusset

Materials needed: 4.5 double pointed needles(needle size determines mitten size) or 4.5- 40″ circular needles(magic loop), stitch markers, stitch holders , darning needle.

Yarn to finish one pair of mittens and the pattern will be supplied
Please bring your own lunch and coffee and tea are available for you to enjoy.

In the event that you are unable to attend a class, event or tour we request that you notify Canadian Fibre Mill Ltd. at least 7 days prior to the scheduled date, for a full refund. We are happy to reschedule you for another class or tour if another date is available.

If you are unable to attend a class, event or tour 6 days or sooner prior to the scheduled date you are eligible for a store credit, rescheduling of another class or another tour date if available.

The first class is very important, so you must attend part 1 of the class (when applicable) in order to attend any subsequent parts. Canadian Fibre Mill Ltd. is unable to offer make-up classes for missed classes.

In the event Canadian Fibre Mill Ltd. is unable to run the class, event or tour due to low enrolment, illness, acts of nature or any other reason we will contact you as soon as possible about the situation, and offer the following;

1. Rescheduling the class, event or tour
2. Issue a store credit
3. Issue a refund.

Late Policy

Please arrive for a class, event or tour at least 15-20 minutes early. Instructors and tour guides have their set criteria and schedules to follow and it would not be kind or fair to other attendees for you to be late.
